Tanisha Bandoo

​ Tanisha is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over five years of experience specializing in eating disorder care. She has worked in residential, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and outpatient settings. Her expertise spans conditions such as Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), bulimia, anorexia, binge eating, and more.

Tanisha’s approach is client-centered, compassionate, and adaptable, designed to meet each individual’s unique needs. She creates a supportive environment grounded in respect, empathy, and a focus on gradual, sustainable progress. By integrating tools such as motivational interviewing and mindfulness, Tanisha empowers clients to reconnect with their bodies and redefine their relationship with food to promote enjoyment and wellness. Her collaborative approach provides personalized guidance that supports meaningful, lasting change in a safe and welcoming space. As a certified yoga teacher, she thoughtfully incorporates mindfulness and movement, nurturing both physical and emotional well-being throughout the healing process.

Why PNT Was Created​​

Path Nutrition Therapy was founded by Tanisha out of her passion for expanding access to affordable, inclusive, and compassionate care for individuals navigating eating disorders and disordered eating. Tanisha believes everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to heal and aims to provide personalized, evidence-based guidance while fostering diversity and equity in the field of nutrition and eating disorder recovery. Her vision is to create a practice that empowers clients to find freedom with food, connection with their bodies, and confidence in their journey to health.
