FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

We do not bill insurance directly. This allows us to provide more personalized, flexible care without the limitations often required by insurance companies, such as diagnosis restrictions, session caps, or standardized treatment approaches.

However, superbills are available upon request for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement.

What is a superbill?

A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the information required by insurance companies, such as provider credentials and service codes. You can submit this to qualifying insurance plans that offer out-of-network reimbursement for registered dietitian services.

How do I know if I’m eligible for reimbursement?

We recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about out-of-network coverage for nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian. Coverage and reimbursement rates vary by plan.

How are sessions structured?

Sessions are offered as part of a structured program rather than booked individually. Most clients begin with more frequent support and gradually transition to less frequent sessions as they build confidence and consistency.

What is the difference between the phases?

The Premier Phase provides more consistent, higher-touch support to help you build a strong foundation. Continuation phases offer ongoing guidance at a reduced frequency to maintain progress and navigate new challenges.

Do I have to commit to a full program?

Programs are designed to support meaningful, lasting change, which is why we work within a structured process. This allows for consistency, deeper support, and more sustainable results.

What does support between sessions look like?

Between sessions, you’ll have access to text support for guidance, accountability, and feedback. This may include food review, answering questions, and support as you navigate day-to-day decisions.

Do you work with eating disorders?

Yes, support is individualized and may include gentle, structured guidance around meals, building trust with your body, and developing a more supportive relationship with food. Care is always approached with compassion and at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.

Is this right for me if I’m not struggling with an eating disorder?

Absolutely. Sessions are tailored to your needs and may focus on general nutrition, digestive health, hormone balance, or building sustainable habits, in addition to more specialized support.

What if my needs change over time?

Your level of support can be adjusted as you progress. Many clients transition into a continuation phase to maintain progress while having ongoing guidance available.
